I assume you are serious about bringing yoga to your school, organization, or family.  I offer a very engaging, fun, and meaningful way to lead yoga with kids.  I have found that kids love going on pretend adventures where they have to use their imaginations.  Furthermore, kids love stories.  I took these ideas of adventure and storytelling, threw in some yoga, and created Yoga Adventures.

Yoga Adventures is a holistic practice.  The class integrates storytelling, games, music, language, and art to engage the whole child.  Kids learn best when they are having fun.  Therefore, Yoga Adventures allow children to learn in a multi-sensory environment that explores kinesthetic, visual, aural, inter and intra personal learning.  It is a FUN class that children enjoy and parents and teachers appreciate.

Highlights of the class include:

  • Pretend adventures to places all over the world

  • Storytelling

  • Creative techniques to do breath work

  • Yoga art projects

  • Props to bring the Yoga adventure to life

  • Music

  • Partner yoga

  • Healthy eating

Students come together at the beginning of the class and sit in a circle.  From there the class structure looks something like this:

  1. Focus Activity: something that will invite everyone to the circle

  2. Adventure: engaging ways to do yoga using stories and adventures

  3. Something FUN: a FUN yoga activity, breathing exercise, or game

  4. Quiet Time: children relax deeply with guided imagery or silent reflection

I am confident Yoga Adventures can add value to what you are already doing.  If you think it might be a good fit for your specific need(s) please give me a call, a text, or e-mail.  I would love to chat.
